Eastgate Healing Rooms’ exists to bring healing and wholeness through the power and presence of Holy Spirit. Our desire is to see people healed, set free, and launched into their destiny by demonstrating the kingdom of God right here and now.

Each person who comes for ministry will receive faith-filled prayer for approximately 20 to 30 minutes.WHERE

Restoring the Foundations
A more thorough form of healing ministry is offered through Restoring the Foundations, which uses an integrated approach to address four basic problem areas in people’s lives. Available is a three-hour session focused on a single issue, or fifteen hours focusing on multiple issues. or more information and pricing for this specialized ministry.

Who We Are
Our Story
In 2000 a group of spiritual leaders traveled around Lancaster County and identified 12 spiritual gates to the region. Their goal was to see a prayer group developed at each of the gates.
In the Spring of 2011, another group who had been praying and seeking God for the region since 2008, heard the very clear voice of the Lord directing them to start a House of Prayer in the Eastern Lancaster County area. After a dream and a powerful prayer time the Lord again spoke prophetically, and with the backing of the local church elders of Petra Church in New Holland, Eastgate House of Prayer was officially launched September 6, 2011.
In order to grow and expand the altar of worship and prayer happening in the region, on January 1, 2022 EHOP was replanted in Gap, PA strategically at the eastern gate of Lancaster County.
For 14 years Eastgate has been ministering from the secret place to every place as a House of Prayer — and now we’re answering God’s call to expand and plant a church in the greater Morgantown area of Berks, Chester, and Eastern Lancaster Counties. We believe God wants to reach new people and families with His transforming power and love in this season.

Eastgate is a community centered around His presence proclaiming the gospel from our neighborhoods to the nations.
Our priorities to fulfill our mission:
Host His Presence — We believe our primary occupation as followers of Jesus is ministry to the Lord through worship and prayer. We are exalting Jesus and establishing a place for Him to dwell.
Encounter God — In the place of His presence we encounter His love and freedom, learn our identity, and discover our purpose.
Experience Family — We are adopted into God’s family, so we intentionally create authentic community to grow and use our gifts.
Go! From the place of day and night prayer, we take the gospel from our neighborhoods to the nations. We make disciples and train people to access heaven and transform earth.
| God is Good | We believe Jesus perfectly reveals the nature of God as a good Father who is good regardless of our circumstances. He is faithful and generous, and as we remember and retell what He has done, He’s able and eager to do it again. Therefore, we seek to live anchored to and out of the reality of God’s goodness and abundance. |
| Devotion to Jesus | We believe Jesus is worthy of our greatest efforts to believe, honor, and obey Him, therefore our ultimate commitment is to pursue Him relentlessly. As the object of our affection, we purpose to minister to Him and to seek Him in such a way that brings fulfillment of the first commandment: to love God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Our goal is to see people encounter Jesus, experience personal salvation and grow in relationship with Him. |
| The Holy Spirit | We believe that every believer is called to live and cultivate a supernatural expression of the gospel (gifts, signs, wonders, miracles, acts of kindness and compassion). This expression indicates that God’s Kingdom is in our midst (Matthew 12:28). We pray for the sick, we release freedom, and we seek to hear the voice of God on behalf of others. |
| Love + Serve Others | We believe that as God transforms us, he gives us the capacity to love Him and to love others in ways that extend beyond what we could achieve in our own strength. Our heart is to see both the Word of God and power of the Spirit active in the church today. We’re passionate about seeing people healed, set free, and released to impact our communities and the nations with the power of the Gospel. We love to see people activated to their unique gifts — it's critical to the health of the body of Christ.Pete and Kara are the founding and lead pastors of Eastgate. Pete has a plethora of experience in the business world having been an integral part of his family’s hardware business for 15 years and having worked in various manufacturing management roles. He graduated from Valley Forge University with a BS in business and bible and is also a licensed auctioneer with Horning Farm Agency.Kara graduated from Delaware Valley University with a BS in agronomy and environmental science and Bloomsburg University with a MEd in curriculum and instruction. She started out as a local county extension agent with PSU and then was a HS Ag and Science teacher for 7 years before serving on staff as Director of Prayer Ministry at Petra Church, New Holland, Pennsylvania. Kara also served with HarvestNET International as the Director of the Kingdom Ministry School. She earned an MDiv from Evangelical Seminary and a DMin from United Seminary as a Randy Clark scholar.The Sensenigs live in Mohnton with their 2 children and 2 dogs. Pete is also a manager at Cleveland Cliffs steel in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
Josh carries a deep love for Jesus and His people. Josh’s passion is to see the local church walk in her calling to be a “House of Prayer for all nations.” He is committed to declaring this message purity and intimacy with God that is preparing the way for Jesus’ return. As an intercessor, Josh is crying out to God for an end-time outpouring of the Holy Spirit as well as the salvation of the Jewish people. Josh is married to his beloved bride, Christa Smucker, and enjoys hanging out with his family including his four children.
Jennifer is our youth ministry staff at Eastgate House of Prayer. She serves EHOP as part of her ministry with InFaith, a national missions organization, by developing youth outreach, discipleship, and mentoring and connecting with other regional ministries to do so. She also serves on a number of our ministry teams. As a result of her own faith journey and powerful God encounter, her heart is to reach the next generation and to see young people and their families encounter the love and hope of Jesus and to walk in their Spirit-empowered purposes, calling, and gifts. She believes that Gen Z holds the key to revival and will impact true transformation in her region and beyond, and she has passionately pursued her call to reach them!She comes to us with varied ministry experiences including church planting, urban outreach, and single mom's ministry as well as twenty years experience as a high school English and writing teacher. After moving back to the tri-county area on the corner of Chester, Lancaster, and Berks Counties ten years ago, God revealed His heart and asked her to reach kids here in a new way.Jennifer studied for a year in Bible college and afterward attended Clearwater Christian College where she received a B.A. in English and Education with a minor in Biblical Studies. She then earned a M. Ed. in Secondary Education from West Chester University with a reading specialist focus. Jennifer is now raising and discipling her own three children and watching them step into their callings. Together they enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking, and exploring, and she relishes a robust coffee and sushi although not necessarily together.
As our Administrator, Laura is an integral part of our team. She has been a part of our Eastgate community since the early days at Petra Church. She is also a graduate of our very first One Thing Internship and has a background in banking. Laura has a heart to see people walk in their identity as sons and daughters and to see the broken healed and set free. Laura is also a local author and speaker. A great resource for marriages, you can find her recently self-published book, "The Strong Ones Stay, Believing For Restoration In a World That Says To Leave," on Amazon.Laura and her husband, Josh, reside in Terre Hill with their two children, Kayla and Christian.
When Eastgate House of Prayer began, Kimberly led and helped train our prophetic teams. She now leads the Prophetic Company here at Eastgate and continues to be involved in training in the prophetic, healing, and deliverance ministries at Eastgate.Kimberly helps facilitate and lead a house church connected to Glory of Zion, International ministries of Corinth, TX.
Medea is the Media and Communication Manager at Eastgate. She has a passion to minister to the Lord and His people through music, art, and whatever additional form He may call her to. She has been participating in Eastgate gatherings for many years, has graduated from a Circuit Rider DTS, and has helped lead ‘Jesus’ Lovers’ (a young adult group) for the past 2 1/2 years. By His grace, the Lord has marked her to ’tell the bride’ whatever is on His heart; as well as remembering and pursuing the lost who have yet to hear the Good News. She is currently attending Pennsylvania College of Art and Design for an AFA in graphic design and thanks God to be able to take part in the triumphal procession to spread the fragrance of the knowledge of Him everywhere.
A wife and mother to four boys, Susan is an author, poet, and artist. Her heart is to help people find freedom, healing, hope, and restoration. She provides leadership in prayer ministry and leads prayer watches at her local church. Susan is trained in Restoring the Foundations, Cleansing Stream, and Freedom Ministries.Susan and D’Lury Geiger co-lead Healing Rooms at Eastgate. Both of these women also serve in additional roles including worship team, prayer leading, prophetic ministry, and hospitality.
A mom of four and nana to four grandchildren, D’Lury has been involved with healing and freedom ministry for the past 27 years. As a member of RTF’s Healing House Network, she leads Keys to Restoration Ministries. She’s received training in healing, deliverance, and prophetic ministry through Restoring the Foundations (RTF), Cleansing Stream, Morning Star Ministries in North Carolina, Kimberly Daniels Ministries, John Eckardt, and IHOP in Kansas City. D’Lury’s heart is to encourage, exhort, and equip others to know their God-given identity and purpose. She leads a house church with her sister in Geigertown, PA as an extension of Glory of Zion Ministries Apostolic Center out of Corith, TX.D’Lury and Susan Miller co-lead Healing Rooms at Eastgate. Both of these women also serve in additional roles including worship team, prayer leading, prophetic ministry, and hospitality.

Eastgate is a community in which the fullness of His presence consistently manifests in the lives of those serving in this house. The Prayer Room is a place to gather morning, noon, and night to minister to the heart of God, to receive God’s love, to hear God’s voice—and then through agreement with Him—declare, prophesy, and pray those realities into the earth. Eastgate desires to see consistent, unending worship and prayer in our region and is partnering with Him for the transformation of our neighborhoods, the nations, and of every sphere of society.
